Roasting asparagus

There are a lot of ways you can cook asparagus, but roasting is our absolute favored. When the stalks darken and crisp, they’re not burning, they’re building a lot more flavor. Here’s to cook best asparagus every time.

  1. Trim the woody ends. The bottom of asparagus spears are super hard and nearly extremely hard to bite by way of, even when cooked. Minimize them off!
  2. Season generously. Never be shy with salt and pepper or else your asparagus can flip out v bland.
  3. Roast in a single layer. If you overcrowd the pan, you risk steaming the asparagus, which would prohibit char. Char is excellent!
