There are a lot of ways you can cook asparagus, but roasting is our absolute favored. When the stalks darken and crisp, they’re not burning, they’re building a lot more flavor. Here’s to cook best asparagus every time.
- Trim the woody ends. The bottom of asparagus spears are super hard and nearly extremely hard to bite by way of, even when cooked. Minimize them off!
- Season generously. Never be shy with salt and pepper or else your asparagus can flip out v bland.
- Roast in a single layer. If you overcrowd the pan, you risk steaming the asparagus, which would prohibit char. Char is excellent!
